Deirdre Clune MEP visits Kilkenny Chamber

 Deirdre Clune, Fine Gael MEP for the Ireland South constituency, visited the Kilkenny Chamber last Wednesday 10^th December. She is a member of the Transport Committee in the European Parliament and in our meeting we discussed the need for completion of the Kilkenny City Ring Road and the connectivity of the Ring Road to the M8 with a link to Glanbia, Ballyragget. We also discussed the tremendous opportunities presented by the future development of the former Diageo site and the benefits of a University for the SE Kilkenny Campus.
